Is there alot of teens hooking up at teens club on cruises?

im going on royal caribbean vision of the seas in about 2 weeks and im going to go to the teen club. im wondering if some guy asks me to be his gf, should i? also is it easy to meet kids near my age? im 14. im so excited for this trip! people say just go for it and it would be alot of fun. i think i will, but whats your opinion?
also is anybody else going on the ship as me on july 27? if you are maybe we can hang out and meet each other at the teen club.

thanks alot

Answer :
Hey.
Im 19 & I find that the teen clubs arent too popular. Its more like you just randomly meet people around the ship.

I was on two cruises. One last year.. I went on spring break to the bahamas and there were TONS of kids. I had random guys talking to me and one father of some kid was trying to hook me up with his son. BUT then I went to puerto rico early may and there were NO kids.

;] luckily for you though, your going in the summer so they'llbe plenty of kids and you'll have an amazing time. Idk about being a guys gf though, you'll never see them again and then its just a hookup and thats not really a good idea. But its up to you. Just be safe and enjoy your trip <33 Any other questions, let me know. Answer :
holy crap u know whats so weird im 14 too and im going on a cruise in like a week and i was wondering the same stuff i swear!! i like just asked question about this too! omg omg haha. i want to go to the teen club and meet some ppl to hang with and a guy too! haha but it might be akward if i just walk into the teen lounge place all by myself lol. u can email me if u want! i think thats so cool how we were wonderin he same thing lol!

I have 20 grand saved up. Where should I go?

I've been working for while and need to take a break. My goal is to live off the money for a year and just read, meet people, and walk around, so I need a place that is not too expensive... but I also see visions of myself near the sea.. also somewhere with a sense of history and culture...

Do you have any suggestions?

Answer :
The kind of place you describe, there can be nothing better then South east Asia, you can make your base in a country like malasiya, and cover all other south asian countries like singapore, philipeens, india, thailand, nepal from there or you can just stay in all these countries for 2-2 months and absorb everything you want to.

SE Asia it is then... I looked into it, and you're right... it is what i am looking for, so I have decided that is where I'm going. Your little answer just altered the entire course of my life. The modern human condition is strange.

Answer :
well, when i just saw the main question "i have 20 grand saved.ware should i go" i was gonna say DISNEY WORLD! but then i saw that u said with culture and history.........ya.guess my answer wont work!

Why do we suffer from "tunnel-vision" - how do we knock the tunnel down?

so many people post on here about a certain girl/boy as if there the only one in the world....and so many respond "there are plenty more fish in the sea"

why do people suffer such tunnel vision - and focus on one person soo much? How can you get out of this trap?

Answer :
Sometimes its just that the person has had a great impact on your life and you just cant let go. Other times they are just stupid and needy and it happens with ever girl or guy they meet and make it seem like they're the one. But i know if my husband and I eneded our relationship I would be #1 in tunnel vision. Depends on the person and circumstances.

Answer :
Because they are desperate and are dependent on someone to fulfill whatever they are lacking in themselves -- being "codependent" on someone to make them happy. They are disfunctional when it comes to relationships.

Answer :
I don't necessarily see this as a trap.

I mean, people are still trying to get to know themselves, seeing what they truely want and don't want. That would be hard to do if we didn't focus on one person at a time.

Just like with our senses...how would we learn, be able to understand, or take in what's around us if our ears didn't focus on certain sounds or eyes didn't focus on what we were concentrating on. It'd be too much input, things wouldn't make sense. In this way, we are prone to focus on what we have, or hurt from focusing on what we just recently lost.

Answer :
obviously you have never seen anyone who you love or really fancy yet

you dont need an answer for your so called tunnel vision as far as im concerend you have 'tunnel vision ' on the world around you if you think this is a bad thing

Answer :
Most people that have that "Tunnel Vision" are with their first love.. and they want to make it work and want to be in that relationship with them for the rest of their lives because they like to think that they are the lucky one that found the right person the first time around.

The only way to get out of that trap is to either overcome your feeling and just know that there is more than just this...

The only other way out is to experience it first hand like so many of us do.

Sponsoring a child over seas?

ok, i am looking into sponsoring as you might have guessed. and i need to find an effective and responsible organization to go through. i know that with the popular ones like world vision, that more of the profits go to advertising then anything else, because they do so much of it. have you sponsored? tell me your story and who you go through. thanks.

Answer :
i sponsored a child through world vision. woudl recommend them. these organisations need to spend money on advertising and administration to be able to help the kids. if you don't want to go through a big organisation why not focus a bit more locally. go and see if there are any kids in your neighbourhood who meed a role model, money for school books, etc.

Answer :
I don't think that the money actually goes to the kids just the missionaries that are already there. I might be wrong.

Can you picture a walk in a bluebell wood from reading this poem - answer yes or no please?

Endymion (Bluebell)

Of all the flowers growing wild
Steadfast and constant year by year
Loved through time by many a child
Each May the faithful bells appear

Tenacious on shaded woodland floor
The bells lift up their heads on cue
As if to hail the spring once more
A carpet breaks of richest blue

A sweetness tarries in the air
Resplendent sight for weary eye
Don't pluck them cosy from their beds
Once picked the blooms will wilt and die

Endymion, so loved by Keats,
Much adored and admired that he
Named the hero of his romance
From visions of a bluebell sea

Answer :
Yes! "And so I groan as one by beauty slain..." You have laid bare the wonderful connection between the star-crossed romance of Endymion, the shepherd youth of fable, and Selene (Cynthia), making of the bluebell sea an arm of the larger mythological cycle that Keats wrote so beautifully about in his epic poem of heroic couplets. You are fascinated by the moon as a source of inspiration (remembering an earlier poem you posted) as am I, and now you mention Keats. You fill up my heart with goodness... I adore Keats! Phoenix-like, you have risen from the ashes of your disillusionment. Beautiful poem.

Need help remembering a movie title from the 80's?

Its a love story involving a girl and boy who get married and then she has visions or dreams of sea turtles sometimes its a stuffed animal sometimes she sees it on the beach. She also swings like a figurine naked with her hair covering her breasts. I think she may have come from the sea but she loves this man and chooses to be on land but I don't remember the details. It's sort of a mystery. The movie doesn't start at the beginning but toward the end with the man running across a watery field as fast as he can to get to her or something. The girl has long black curly hair.

Answer :
"The Bermuda Depths" (1978)?
This movie was initially shown as an ABC "Movie of the Week", a few years before the cable and video rentals era. Thus, it was a one-shot type of situation as far as being seen and a whole generation of young children watched this film and remembered it from that one showing.
Here's the plot: Traumatized, orphaned college dropout Magnus Dens returns to Bermuda to find the cause of his father's mysterious death years before. At the Bermuda Biological Station, he finds Eric and Dr. Paulis, friends and colleagues of his late father, and joins them on a quest for gigantic sea creatures. He also meets Jennie Haniver (black-haired Connie Sellecca), a mysterious young woman who was once his only childhood friend. Paulis' housekeeper, an island local, warns Magnus that Jennie is dangerous. The beautiful but vain young woman had made a pact with the Devil centuries before and lives forever young deep in the waters of the Devil's Triangle (a.k.a. Bermuda Triangle). Nobody heeds the folklore and the researchers trap the giant sea turtle, setting the stage for a deadly confrontation with both minions of the Devil.

Answer :
The only possible movies I can even think of that might be the movie you are looking for are Splash and A Fish Called Wanda. Both were in the 80's.....I think that chances are...it's one of theese two movies you are looking for.

Answer :
I think you are talking about Splash with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks. It's about a man who falls in love with a mermaid.

How does one differentiate or tell the difference between a vision and a dream?

Last night I was meditating with my eyes closed and thinking about the blessings of the Lord.I found myself in place X travelling along a road. After a while the depth and perspective (art term) of looking ahead at the distance made the road look like a tunnel; but in reality it was still a road. I found myself at placeY which was like a cliff jutting over the sea(promontory?) and the water was calm with different hues of blue.Three names- Edith, Pearl and Sharon- were given.I saw no houses but was told the locale was quaint.I was involved in a debate as to whether locale X was on a higher elevation than locale Z.Either Z or X is the capital.I have to research it. I saw surf or clear water with foam on the road but it was not deep- just like a splash and the sea rolling in..Locale X and Z really exist but I have never visited that area. Was I imagining all of this or is God saying something to me?How would I know for sure? I pray daily- two or more times, meditate and read my Bible..

Answer :
it is this simple, if the message you received instructs you to be kinder and more loving to every person and animal that you meet it comes from god, if not.... it is only a dream.

as for interpreting, whether a dream or a vision it will be made clear when the time is right, study pray and meditate, but remember that sometimes a dream is just a dream, it is in the real world that we are meant to make a difference.

Answer :
In a vision you breathing is not detectable.

Always compare your thoughts with the bible.

Answer :
Dream's happen in your Soul (second mind).
Vision's happen in you (a Spiritman---first mind).
It's tricky.
There have been People allowed to visit HEAVEN, and they didn't know if they (Spiritmen) were in their Body's (Physical, Flesh) or not.
It's tricky. Ask the FATHER in JESUS's Name to show you what it meant, or if it was even from HIM.

Answer :
There is no difference. Be careful of your brain. It loves sensory hijinx. The brain craves sensory input at all times. Decrease the amount of sensory input it needs (as with your meditation), and it will make up the difference on it's own. Call it a hallucination if you want. I call it dreams. If the area of the brain that is responsible for spiritual experience is stimulated while this dream occurs, some call it a vision.

Poems I wrote for English, opinions?

I input some of J.R.R. Tolkein's style, a tad of Stephenie Meyer's, and some of my own unique style. I used as much imagery as possible.

A Harpist Dream
If all my hopes and dreams came true,
What a harpist I would be!
I see the vision clear as river blue.
I’m reaching out to take my degree:
“Master of Music: Harp” it says.
I feel so happy and so free.
Then the scene changes.
I find myself in my studio,
Teaching precious Guinevere, my beautiful little girl.
I help her put her little hands upon the harp,
Place her fingers on the strings,
And play a little tune.
The scene changes again.
I sit upon the stage in all my glory,
A million starlights all among me.
I wear the midnight sky upon my dress,
My hair is long and curled;
The sparkle of passion is in my eyes.
I pull the harp back, place my fingers on the strings,
And from them gently flows:
A nightingale of melody.
Soon I’m lost among the music,
Flying with the notes and song.

A Wedding Dream
If all my hopes and dreams came true,
A beautiful bride would I be!
I see the vision clear as crystal sea.
I stand upon the altar, dressed up all in white:
A vision of beauty am I.
As I take my wedding vows,
I say“ I do” and the tears begin to fall.
I’m not proclaiming sadness, but unrestraining joy.
To be here with my one true love
And all the others whom I love.
I smile through my clear glass drops,
And throw my bright bouquet into the crowd
To a lucky woman’s hands.

A Children Dream
If all my hopes and dreams came true,
A little boy and girl I’d have.
I see the vision clear as glassy pool.
I’m rocking little Guinevere
And little Edward, too.
I put them in their beds,
We all say prayers and say goodnight.
I sing to them till their little eyes are shut with sleep.
My husband takes me by the hand as the children fall asleep.
We smile at them and walk out of the room;
Leaving our children to sleep.

Answer :
...Wow, is all I can say. I could never write anything as beautiful as that. ;)

Is this really a poem, or is it prose?

With holiday read in hand I lie
in a neglected sun-baked garden,
dotted with drooping daises
and dandelion clocks.

As a constant reminder that this is Greece
nearby stand gnarled silver-green olive trees
the epitome of history and peace.

Behind me is a crumbling white-washed wall.
Cascades of white roses tumble like
a waterfall down its face filling the air
with a rare and delicate perfume.

In the distance comes an insistent
coo of a dove
from the fir-clad hills above.
Its call creating a soothing counter-melody
to the noisy sparrows,
gossiping and fighting in the fruit-free trees.

So clear in the sky, as if just created,
I see Mount Olympus, home of the gods
in the majestic white clustering clouds,
painted on a canvas of an unreal blue.
Its hue reflecting the turquoise serenity
of the timeless Aegean Sea.

Across my vision swifts persistently swoop,
their flight an erratic dart and dive,
like paper aeroplanes tossed by a carefree child.

The sun is high in the late afternoon,
toasting my pale English skin,
presenting me with scattered freckles
and a drowsy happiness within.

My book is too heavy for my hand
My head droops in the heat
My eyes close
My breathing slows
I'm lost in blissful sleep.

Answer :
Anything can be a poem, even straight out poetry. It's up to the poet to decide if it's a poem. But, if you call something a poem and it's not a very good poem, then you will be lambasted by the poetry community. This is the same thing with prose, though. A very good poem can be bashed because you called it prose. This, however, is clearly a poem as it has no narrative structure. But a narrative poem can be called "prose" just as easily as prose poetry can be called a "poem". Naomi Shihab Nye is a very good prose poet, if you're interested in finding out more about that. And narrative poetry is, well, all over the place, from Beowulf to The Odyssey to Shakespeare and, in modern day, Yehuda Amichai and Seamus Heaney are great narrative poets.
Long story short, you've got a very nice little poem there.

Thank you for your encouragement. I have had a quick look for N S Nye - but, got side-tracked! Noted her name will try again another time.
Holly - read your poem - (very impressed I was with your maturity)

Answer :
Very descriptive. It's obvious from the poem that you are in unfamiliar territory. Even the meter is different from your usual poetry, as if you were not really sure how to describe all these unfamiliar sights (and sites). In the end, the tension seems to get t

Answer :
Welcome back from holiday. At least you brought this nice gem to share. From dandelion clocks to the swifts you have painted the scenery well. A puzzling question remains though: was it a book of poetry in your lap or some latest gothic romance? lol Compliments to you on this.

Answer :
Last year I went to Greece for my holiday, and I fell in love. Thanks for reminding me about what a magical place it is with this--and here is the answer to your question--fine POEM.

Answer :
Greece sounds beautiful, one of the places on my travel wish list! The poem has great imagery, I enjoyed reading it and being there for a little while through your poem.

Answer :
It's beautiful! I love it, great imagery!
I would say a poem, it's hard to tell sometimes! I write poems that are very long, they could be short stories!
(Here is one of my shorter ones!...http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/for-i-am-…
But yeah, i think it's too image-filled to be prose.
Great work though, i can just imagine it!
XD!

Anyway anything can be poetry; from one liners and haiku, to 3 pages! Poetry can really be anything, some things are expected, but really you can write a story and call it a poem!
Yours is definately a poem!
